Pressure Vessels and Reactors Pressure vessel and reactors are most important part of process industry. Many critical reaction need to carried out in closed vessel at elevated temperature, pressure and agitation. Pressure vessel and reactors carefully designed to handle such extreme condition of temperature and pressure. Evaporators are used to concentrate the liquid. In most of cases evaporators are used to increase solid content of the liquid product prior to drying. This is cost effective method of removal of moisture. Depending on nos of stages used in evaporation steam consumption will be increase. Steam jet ejector and thermo-compressor are used to increase the thermal efficiency of evaporator. The operator of evaporator system is done at atmospheric or vacuum condition. An evaporator consists of either plate or shell and tube type heat exchanger. Different types of evaporator are;
